Our Story
After I experienced pure wine jelly in California, I returned to Canada looking for the same taste experience. Every time I found wine jelly locally, it was either mixed with some sort of fruit or made from varietals that masked the wine taste. Not able to find what I wanted, I decided to make it myself and what you see here is the result. These Wine Jellies are made using Ontario Wines from regions such as Prince Edward County, Niagara and Pelee Island.
After a lot of experimenting with different wine blends, we came up with our award-winning Gamay/Merlot jelly. We have since added a Cranberry Pinot Grigio, Caribbean Sorrel,Vanilla, Riesling and our Lavender Pinot Grigio Chardonnay was named Grand Champion at the Royal Winter Fair.
What is most important to us is that the jelly flavour reflects its origins and retains the “wine” taste. All of our jellies are made in small batches to ensure the consistent taste of the base wines.
Frankly it was also an excuse to eat more cheese. We hope you enjoy them!
